Melasma can be treated with simple household ingredients, such as:

Apple cider vinegar: It is a well-known remedy for solving hair and skin problems, and it is also a treatment for melasma, thanks to its containing acetic acid, which is a natural bleaching agent, and a remover of skin spots and toxins, and makes the skin smooth and bright, by mixing two equal amounts of apple cider vinegar and water, and applying it On the affected areas with melasma, leave it to dry, then wash it with lukewarm water and dry it well, and repeat the recipe once a day.

Turmeric: Turmeric contains effective medicinal properties for treating skin problems, as it reduces melanin, reduces melasma, and removes toxins from the skin. Thanks to its antioxidant content, it helps treat acne and pimples, and to increase the benefit, it is mixed with yogurt that contains calcium and lactic acid, which helps exfoliate and soften the skin, by mixing five tablespoons of turmeric powder, with ten tablespoons of yogurt until They become in the form of a paste, then add a tablespoon of chickpea flour, and apply the dough to the affected areas, leave it to dry for twenty minutes, then wash it with warm water, and repeat the treatment daily.

Potatoes: Potatoes contain the enzyme catecholase that is effective in reducing dark spots and skin blemishes, by peeling and mashing potatoes to obtain its juice, applying it to the skin, leaving it for two minutes, then washing it with warm water, and repeating the recipe daily.
